Colleen's special olive oil, currant, Marsala wine, and anise seed cookies
these cookies are so delicious, they are both sweet and savory

below is Colleen's special recipe
you have to try these!
Olive Oil Cookies
1 cup White Flour
1 cup Semolina Flour
1 cup currants
1/2 cup Sweet Marsala
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon anise seed
salt to taste
additional Oil and Marsala as needed
the mixture will seem dry but will come together if pressed together
mix all ingredients and press into a 1/2 inch thick square
score and cut into 1 inch squares
place a scant distance apart on a sheet pan
bake in an oven heated to 350 degrees
pull and cool when golden
check color after 15 minutes
